Villa Planita is a one-of-a-kind luxury villa right in the heart of the old Dalmatian municipality Novigrad. Villa Planita brilliantly combines the rustic traditional Dalmatian style with luxury, by utilizing its stone walls and wooden accents and modernizing the space with contemporary furniture. Villa Planita’s attention to detail is present even in its name – the villa was named after the royal robe that Queen Elizabeth knitted during her captivity in Novigrad. Enjoy a lux holiday in Croatia surrounded by traditional stone houses and fortresses and start off each day with a breath-taking view of the Adriatic Sea.
The 180m2 Villa Planita offers accommodation to 8 guests in three stunningly decorated bedrooms, all of which are furnished with a double bed, a TV and an A/C system. Furthermore, two of the bedrooms have a full en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, while the third bedroom has an open bathroom with a basin and a shower. In addition to the three en-suite bathrooms, there is another bathroom with a shower. The sleek kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances, so that guests of Villa Planita can show off their cooking skills. The cooked meals can be tasted in the gorgeous dining area for six, furnished with a long wooden table and six deep brown modern dining chairs. Next to the dining area is the stylish living room with a cozy sofa bed, where two more guests can sleep, and satellite/smart TV. Villa Planita is pet-friendly, so make sure to bring your lovely pets with you on your holiday in Croatia.
The exterior of Villa Planita features a terrace with an outdoor lounging area perfect for enjoying a cup of morning coffee. However, the guests’ favorite will probably be the amazing rooftop terrace which is a little wellness paradise. There you will be able to make a summer cocktail at the bar and take a dip in the jacuzzi, all while having a breath-taking view of the sea and the surrounding area. Furthermore, you will be able to prepare meals on the grill and enjoy them in the outdoor dining area on fresh air. During your stay, you will have complete privacy, since the entire property of Villa Planita is fully fences. Guests arriving by car will have a private parking space at their disposal.
Novigrad is a small municipality whose local population is mainly engaged in fishing and tourism. Novigrad is located in-between 4 national parks. 15 km north-west is NP Paklenica, a river canyon in Velebit mountains, a favourite among rock climbers, while a car ride 80 km to the north will lead you to the NP Plitvice Lakes, the oldest and biggest national park in Croatia with breath-taking waterfalls and untouched nature. 50 km south from Novigrad is NP Kornati, an archipelago of 89 islands and reefs often called a “nautical paradise”. The final national park is NP Krka waterfalls, located 55km south-east from Novigrad on the loveliest section of river Krka and its waterfalls. Novigrad’s proximity to the river Zrmanja allows rafting, canoeing and kayaking excursions. A short hike up the hill from Villa Planita will lead you to the old fortress ruins with a spectacular view of the surrounding area, especially during the sunset.
