Furthermore, Žerava is in the vicinity of Nin (8km), Croatia’s first royal city, renowned for its beautiful 3km-long sandy beach Queen’s beach, as well as its saltworks. The beaches found along the Nin lagoon are especially attractive to families with small children, since most of them have shallow waters. Fifteen minutes from Žerava is the historic city Zadar, where you will be able to see many remains of the Roman times on the Roman Forum, as well as some modern installations such as the Greeting to the Sun and the Sea Organ, which uses the energy of the waves to produce a unique melody.
