Property description

Nestled between the mountains and the Adriatic, sun and sea are the star attractions of the Dalmatian Coast. Between the northern and southern ends of the region soaring cliffs are broken by stunning beaches and small fishing places. One of those places is Omiš - a small town and port at the mouth of the Cetina River in the littoral of Poljica, 26 km southeast of Split. In the 13th and 14th century Omiš was home of pirates (Omiški gusari), who used there fast boats Sagittae (The Arrow) to attach trade ships at the mouth of the River. Once they have succeeded in their attacks they would fast retried up the Cetina river, where the trade ships and their escorts could not follow them.
Today Omiš is a very popular tourist destination. In the winter half year the city is really quite, but every year in April/May, when the sea is warm enough for most swimmers, life in Omiš starts to beat faster, many people from Split and the surrounding cities are dragged to the nice sandy beaches in Omiš. Also at this time of year, almost every day you can see hill climbers from different countries trying to climb the step cliffs behind the old town. And the river sport activities like rafting, canyoning etc. starts to be part of the daily program. So, the Split-Omiš area in central Dalmatia provides easy access to everything Croatia has to offer making Villa Tramonto the ideal base for an immersive Croatian vacation.
The interior of Villa Tramonto offers plenty of space to relax and unwind while the outdoors is really where the house comes to life with plenty of space for the whole family. Take a dip in the heated sapphire pool or relax on the terrace and admire the sparkling views. Tramonto Villa’s sundeck, furnished north and south terraces and alfresco dining area offer plenty of space for a leisurely lunch beneath the shade. As the sun sets and the skies turn chimney red, for your ultimate viewing pleasure we recommend taking a glass of chilled Dalmatian wine to enjoy watching the embers of the day with.
Contemporary in design, this sophisticated four-bedroom villa effortlessly combines natural and modern architecture, while the airy interior pops with splashes of colourful décor throughout. The sleek, fully-equipped dining kitchen, sitting room and guest room with sofa bed are situated on the ground floor – all with sea view terrace access.
You can reach the top level by stairs where there are spacious and modern 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated, equipped with air conditioning and with exit to shared terrace overlooking the sea.
For those who would like to stay more active during their holidays, Villa Tramonto offers equipment for exercising in gym room as well as a sauna to relax afterwards.
From the main terrace on the ground floor, make your way to the water's edge for a dip, take from the villa kayak or SUP for a paddle and discover the treasures that await in this fascinating area. Villa Tramonto is a peaceful oasis with an authentic natural setting near the sea and yet close to the lively cities of Omiš, Split and Makarska.

Omis is a Dalmatian town at the mouth of the Cetina River! The unique combination of the river Cetina, sea and mountains is only 25 km away from Split. Here’s a cold hard fact - your vacation in Omiš simply cannot be considered complete if you miss the chance to hear some truly fascinating stories that these centuries old streets have written all over them. Of course, visiting beaches and enjoying beautiful nature is probably the first thing you should do when in Omiš, but it would be a huge mistake if that is the only thing you do while in town with such an incredible culture and history. The mountain, the river and the sea. Those are the things most people first notice when they visit Omiš. But what if we told you there was one more thing that makes Omiš so very special? It’s the town’s hinterland - the beautiful Poljica. Now, we really don’t want to give away any spoilers about the Poljica region's incredible history. Let’s just put it this way - if it was located in the USA there would be at least five Hollywood blockbuster movies made about the great dukes, violent history and a very special heroic maiden of Poljica.
