Villa Essenza Zaglav is a great starting point to explore this beautiful island. Villa Essenza Zaglav is situated on a large estate just a few meters from the sea in a very private and quiet location with large gardens lot of outdoor terraces and stunning sea views. Whole property is placed on a hillside and it stretches from the peak of the hill on one side to the pebble beach in the front side. This whole area is some few kilometers away from towns of Blato and Vela Luka and around 40 km from town Korcula.
Villa Essenza Zaglav is modern villa on two floors (ground and first) with 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and other 4 bedrooms share 2 bathrooms). Villa Essenza Zaglav is ideal accommodation for group of 14 persons.
All rooms are spacious, some of them have extra sofas, decorated minimalistic and 3 of them with walk in wardrobe. The villa can be accessed from the ground floor or from the first floor (steps up from the car parking area). The ground floor of the Villa Essenza consists of fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, 2 spacious double bedrooms with stunning sea view. One of the bedrooms is connected to a spacious pool area by large opening glass walls.
On the first floor are other bedrooms, spacious living room with dinning area. The outside area of Villa Essenza Zaglav has wonderfully decorated Mediterranean garden that enriches the 100m² swimming pool and accompanying terraces of cca 550m². Adding garden furniture, sunbeds and parasols we created a perfect leisure oasis.
Probably the best place within Villa Essenza Zaglav is the upper first floor terrace that overlooks the swimming pool and bay of Karbuni. Here you will find dinning area, from where you can have a pleasure of al fresco dinning. In Villa Essenza you can find yourself a comfortable place and enjoy it with family, or find a quiet zone to call your own!
Location
Korcula is considered as the pearl of the southern Dalmatia and offers to its visitors picturesque walled old townof Korcula, magnificent coastal panoramas, dreamlike fishing villages and idyllic coves. The sixth largest island in Croatia, Korcula is 20 miles long and rather narrow, between 4 and 5 miles wide on average. This island is known for its dense forest and the ancient Greeks called the island Black Korcula (Kerkyra melaina) for this reason. Away from the tourist-places on the coast of the island Korcula, in the island's interior one discovers a unique green landscape with panoramic views and hidden cultural treasure, which one can discover either on foot or by bicycle. The coast of the island of Korcula is very indented with a large number of bays and coves. The main resorts are Korcula Town (people call it “Little Dubrovnik” because of its medieval squares, churches, palaces and houses), Vela Luka and Lumbarda. There’s also smaller towns and villages dotted around on the island for those looking for a more secluded holiday. Korcula is one of Croatia’s most treasured islands although, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, not quite as popular as some of its slightly more northern counterparts, such as Brac and Hvar. This may be because the island is a little further away to get to (both from Split or Dubrovnik) and some of the most convenient ferry services to the island only run in summer.
