In the heart of the Santa Croce district, a few minutes walk from the railway station and the parking lots in Piazzale Roma.
Located along the Rio delle Muneghete in which it is reflected, in front of Fondamenta de le Sechere. It is considered one of the most curious and photographed houses in Venice. Casa delle Cinque Teste is the name given by the Venetians but perhaps it is not its official name. The meaning of the five heads is due to the fact that on the facade of the building facing the water there are five marble heads sculpted by the city’s tagiapiera (or stonemasons) and depicting kind human faces.

It is also accessed from the water gate by taxi on the canal or from the back along a path that leads from the pòrtego of Calle Dario to the entrance.
