Dubravka
Property description
Island Korcula – one of the largest Croatian island and its seductive beauty makes it one of the top island destinations in the Mediterranean. If you are tired of mass tourism and are looking for something inspiring and authentic, then you have come to the right place. On island Korcula you will discover beautiful scenery and rich cultural historical heritage. Island is surrounded by crystal waters and 182km of coastline with countless beautiful beaches.
In one of serene locations, within a tranquil bay, but only a few minutes from the town of Korcula its perfect place has found Villa Korcula Prakaash. Villa is the perfect choice for true relaxation and indulging in a week of absolute hedonism. It is a luxurious waterfront beach house ingeniously designed directly overlooking the water’s edge and it provides its guests an opportunity to escape the bustle of everyday life.
Due to its fantastic location, the villa offers an unobstructed view of the crystal clear Adriatic Sea and the lush Mediterranean greenery. The large expanses of glazing and open plan nature make the most of its remarkable location, while offering a relaxing and soothing environment. Newly constructed on three levels, the villa is an outstanding example of modern Dalmatian architecture.
The villa is luxurious and elegant and has been created using the best of everything, from the striking crystal chandelier, to the finest stone sinks, beautiful fabrics and contemporary furnishings. Carefully thought out by an interior designer, every attention to detail and comfort has been considered. The interior design has been created to be light and soothing by mixing natural materials with luxurious textiles. The contemporary lighting design and choice of colors give a warmth and richness to the living space.
Villa Korcula Prakaash consists of four en-suite bedrooms equipped with double beds - all the bedrooms open out onto terraces with fabulous views over the bay and the Peljesac Peninsula beyond. All the air-conditioned bedrooms have Egyptian cotton linens with opulent bathrooms and plenty of fluffy towels to pamper oneself with after a day in the sea or around the pool.
Location
Korcula is considered as the pearl of the southern Dalmatia and offers to its visitors picturesque walled old town of Korcula, magnificent coastal panoramas, dreamlike fishing villages and idyllic coves. The sixth largest island in Croatia, Korcula is 20 miles long and rather narrow, between 4 and 5 miles wide on average. This island is known for its dense forest and the ancient Greeks called the island Black Korcula (Kerkyra melaina) for this reason. Away from the tourist-places on the coast of the island Korcula, in the island's interior one discovers a unique green landscape with panoramic views and hidden cultural treasure, which one can discover either on foot or by bicycle. The coast of the island of Korcula is very indented with a large number of bays and coves. The main resorts are Korcula Town (people call it “Little Dubrovnik” because of its medieval squares, churches, palaces and houses), Vela Luka and Lumbarda. There’s also smaller towns and villages dotted around on the island for those looking for a more secluded holiday. Korcula is one of Croatia’s most treasured islands although, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, not quite as popular as some of its slightly more northern counterparts, such as Brac and Hvar. This may be because the island is a little further away to get to (both from Split or Dubrovnik) and some of the most convenient ferry services to the island only run in summer.
The island of Marco Polo will awaken the explorer, athlete, gourmet, hedonist, romantic that lies within you... So do not hesitate for even a moment. Get to know island Korcula, and yourself along with it.
