Giuggiulena is a charming seaside B&B with views in Siracusa Sicily.
It is chic, but family-friendly B&B on a cliff-top villa with private access to the sea.
In a quiet neighbourhood in gentrification a short walk from Ortygia.

The Villa with bright views of turquoise and indigo waters and sea-sculpted golden rock through the floor-ceiling glass windows of the spacious lobby-lounge, has the feel of a relaxed but elegant family holiday home.

In the glass-walled lounge there is always fruit for guests to help themselves and with soft music playing and an abundance of books and magazines to leaf through it is the place to hang out. It opens onto a terrace, perched right above the sea – the perfect place for an early evening drink. In the evenings, you can order wine and nibbles to eat in the lounge or on the terrace.
 
9 rooms , each room is different, some with hand-decorated floors and furnished in simple Mediterranean style, and others more contemporary style. All rooms have views of the sea.

Standard Room
Bright room with private terrace
This lovely little room is upstairs and has a nice terrace for exclusive use equipped with plants, sofas, and umbrella. No lift service. The room is next to the large sea view sun terrace used by all guests of the villa. There is everything you need to be happy from the Terrace, where you can sit and sip exquisite aperitif, to the interior comfort. Everything is made to allow you to spend a regenerating holiday, in a context of refined taste and care in every detail.

Each room is bright and spacious, the floors hand-decorated and furnished in a simple Mediterranean style. There is everything you need to be happy from the balcony, where you can sit and sip exquisite cocktails, to the interior comfort. Everything is made to allow you to spend a regenerating holiday, in a context of refined taste and care in every detail. The rooms with balcony are located at the first and second floor, are serviced by a lift.

Directly on the water’s edge, lovely modern nest for lovers.
The recent renovation enhances their contemporary and original style, with particular attention to detail and design.  The two rooms differ, both in character and style, from the other rooms type. But none the less, they offer the same warm and familiar feeling for our guests at Giuggiulena Villa.
The Superior rooms are located at the bottom floor, are serviced by a lift.

A corner of paradise of 18 square meters, romantic and welcoming guarantee a pleasant and comfortable stay. No Balcony. An internal spiral staircase climbs to the large private roof terrace with a patio, outdoor shower, loungers, and great sea view.
Breakfast service in the main villa from 8am to 10am.

Classic room sea-view
Intimate and elegant room located in a separate villa for your privacy.
A corner of paradise of 25 square meters, king size bed romantic and welcoming guarantees a pleasant and comfortable stay. No Balcony.  An internal spiral staircase climbs to the large private roof terrace with a patio, outdoor shower, loungers, and great sea view.
Breakfast service in the main villa from 8am to 10am.

Sea View Apartment two double bedrooms
Ideal for a family or two couples of friends, Intimate and elegant rooms located in a separate villa for your privacy.
Bright and spacious apartment consist in two bedrooms (Standard + Classic), with ensuite bathroom at the ground floor and upper floor with private terrace and fully furnished kitchenette overlooking the sea.
The floors hand-decorated and furnished in a simple Mediterranean style. Private entrance.
Air conditioning in all the rooms. Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and books, to make your stay home away from home.
Extra bed available for a family of 5.
Breakfast service in the main building from 8am to 10am.
All linen is supplied including beach towels.
We provide cleaning and change of linen every day.

How to reach us
By Air
Catania airport is 60 km away. Interbus links to Syracuse run every hour.
Taxi or car with chauffeur; one of our trusted drivers will meet you at the airport, holding a hotel sign. The service costs 60 euros, half of the normal airport tariff. Book the service at least one day in advance and pay the driver directly.
By Train

By Bus

By Car
from Palermo, take the A19 motorway and then follow the indications for the Catania-Siracusa motorway.
From Messina, take the A18 motorway and follow the indications for the Catania-Siracusa motorway.
Once on the Catania-Siracusa motorway, take the Siracusa Sud exit

Facility information
Upstairs there is a terrace where guests can sunbathe, and you can also access the sea from the ground floor - and it feels like a small private spaceto explore on the rocks. Do not worry if you have forgotten your footwear to go to sea as there are suitable shoes available in various sizes.

Buffet style with a choice of cereals, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, homemade jams, cakes, and fresh fruit.
Breakfast is served on a balcony overlooking the sea and when the weather does not allow it in the common lounge.
