Log in to your Blueside-Home account. Go to the listing of the house you want to book. Enter your dates and the number of travelers. A confirmation form will appear. Check that the information suits you (dates, number of nights and travelers, total price) before "Confirming your reservation".
You will receive a confirmation email from the owner within 48 hours. Then proceed with payment from your Blueside-Home account: your reservation is definitively validated and recorded.
You can now communicate directly with the owner via the Blueside-Home messaging system.

- Remind of important information: reservations, useful tips about the destination or activities on your account.
- Facilitate communication between owners and travelers.

- Emails: sent to the email address linked to your Blueside-Home account.
- Text messages (SMS): sent to the phone number linked to your Blueside Home&Host account.
- Phone calls: made to the phone number linked to your Blueside Home&Host account.

It costs absolutely nothing. Registration, publication of the ad as well as staying on the platform are completely free of charge. We charge you a 13% service fee per booking. The 13% are directly added to the price you've chosen so that the guests see the total amount when they wish to book, and you receive the amount you designated without any additional fees.

Once the reservation is confirmed, they will receive the exact location and address of the accommodation.

Blueside-Home& Host uses Stripe as its main payment agent. After you create a Stripe account, you have to enter it when registering for the platform.
When a guest makes a reservation, payment is done immediately. You receive the amount you listed as per night (minus the Blueside Home 13% commission) 7 days after the reservation is made.

You can also link your property to a bank account in a country where Stripe is possible. For example, if you own a property in Croatia, where Stripe does not exist, but you have a bank account in France (where Stripe is present), you can associate this account with your property in Croatia.
What should I do if I cannot open a Stripe account?
If the country where you have a bank account doesn't support Stripe, don’t worry. Although Stripe is our main payment agent and is mandatory in countries that support it, it is possible to collect payment directly from your guests for those that don't. You can do so in any way you wish (cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer). You will receive an invoice from us with our 13% commission. This invoice must be paid in full, 15 days after receiving it, at the latest.
Does Stripe charge a commission?
No, Stripe does not charge anything so that there are no expenses on your end.

There are five types of notifications you can receive from Blueside Home:
- Messages — host-guest communication
- Reminders and suggestions — Booking reminders, advice to improve your trip and other messages relating to your activities on the platform
- Promotions — Coupons, promotions, surveys, product updates, etc. Blueside-Home& Host and its partners
- Policy and Community — Updates on home-sharing laws and outreach efforts in your community
- Account support — Messages regarding your account, legal updates, security, private information, and customer support requests
The total amount of the reservation, minus our 13% commission, will be automatically transferred to your bank account 7 days after your host has made the payment at the time of booking.
You take care of the invoice for your guests. Here on the website — under the "Bookings" tab you can find the invoice for the Blueside Home commission.
The information below only relates to invoices issued by Blueside Home. The invoices issued by the owners for the hosts are not taken into account by the platform.
- If the owner is outside the EU: invoicing without taxes;
- If the owner is in the EU with an intra-community VAT number: invoicing without taxes ;
- If the owner in the EU without VAT number: invoicing with the amount of VAT of the country of the owner (regulation on digital services) ;
- If the owner in France:
- In metropolitan France: invoicing including VAT with 20 % VAT
- Mayotte or Guyana: invoicing excl. Tax (0 % VAT)
- Other overseas departments with VAT number: invoicing including VAT with 8.5 % VAT.
- Without VAT number: invoicing with 20 % VAT
1 day after the departure of the traveler(s), the owner will receive an email with a link inviting them to leave a review for their host(s). The review left by the owner will be visible on the traveler's profile.
